sorry for the delay in responding. they didnt do anything to the last trainer as far as i know. the guy i was talking with over the phone took his sweet time looking into everything and returning my call. i do know they did not put all that stuff on my dac like they said, partly because the driver development assistant did it before her boss came back and he is the one that talked all that crap on the phone.
they told me to feel free to reapply in a year. we all know about karma. and that sob will get what he deserves for that very reason. -
site lag caused a double post.

I've put in my app with Crete as well. I'm waiting to hear something tomorrow. Hopefully, I will. They're my first choice, but I'm going tomorrow to get my long form physicals faxed up to TMC. Keepin' my fingers crossed for either one....

Sorry franktaylor if you mentioned it earlier, but what school did you attend, if I may ask? At any rate, I'd send a letter of complaint stating that in thier lack of detail regarding tractor/trailer operations you were short changed in your education. Did NOT couple/uncouple? Seriously?

...I feel blessed now having chosen the school I ended up almost not choosing. (A community college) -
So any news from either carrier these past couple-a-weeks? Sup?

i went to a tn state tech school. ptdi certified or whatever. to update y'all on me, i just got done with training. i had one trainer for 7 and a half weeks and then had to go with another guy who was supposed to only get me to lincoln but he didn't like some of the things my first trainer had me doing logs so he kept me another week to straighten that up. now i'm sitting at the hotel in lincoln for the weekend and have my road test on monday. it's been a hell of a process getting to here but overall i'm really happy with my decision. i'm one of those people that plan on staying out on the road for 6 weeks or more. shaffer has been nothing but great through this whole process and to top it off with a weekend off before orientation is a bonus.

Good luck on your road test Monday, Franktaylor! If you see a short guy with a beard who looks lost anytime soon, that'd be me.

Am taking the road test, along with pissing in a cup, doing the work-fit testing and paperwork on Monday at the Council Bluffs (Schaffer) terminal. I'll be assigned a trainer as soon as my drug test results come back a day or two after Monday...
Well, again, good luck to you on Monday but sounds like you have it in the bag now! -
thanks tut, good luck to you also
