They are within 20 miles but these 3 have multiple locations within 50 miles of me

I see. Maybe try some other companies around if there are any. Either that or do the waiting game but then your looking at a refresher course probably. I travel about 60 miles to work and another 60 back. Although that's me not you and everyone is different. Sure I could find something closer but I'd make a lot less then I do now even with the fuel savings.

yeah i applied at hand fulls of local jobs but everyone wants the experience behind the wheel. Im just putting in apps everywhere.

Only a rumor, but I heard sometimes getting your foot in the door with a little local company can help. Of course that means you will have to have a decent time with them to "prove" yourself. Since it is a driving industry, they don't like those kind of speeds. On that note, Werner is really being a pickle with who they choose. So many out of work with no records they can afford to be. My husband had a bit of trouble 19 YRS ago and they wouldn't work with him. Just a thought. Best of luck.

Yeah its been hard finding anything local. Ive been trying a lot of the beginner training companies. A couple of them said 3 moving violations in the last 3 years and no suspensions within the last 12 months

yeah seeing as how the economy is and how hard it is to get a loan in the state of California. I dont think thats gonna happen anytime soon
