No suspension, some are fix it and the truck route “might” be 1 or 1/2 point. Fix the violation that are fixable and go to court.Trucker1094 Thanks this.

I don't really keep up with the points system. I try to keep up with the rules side so I dont get points.
We do have a couple of guys here that keep up with that stuff pretty well, that may drop by & help answer you question accurately.
Personally, I don't think you're gonna loose your licence or get suspended. There's only one ticket there. The rest are warnings it looks like. However, you're well on your way to being suspended at this rate.
Learn by reading, not by paying. Get that little green book...... and read it, then read it again. Start in section 390.
Get you a job with a company & co-drivers that will train & help you.Last edited: Dec 13, 2023

Regardless of what vehicle your operating or even how far away from home you were, once your on a public road your subject to any authority that wishes to make an inspection, the only exception would be if they came onto your private property that would change things a bit if you had not actually been on a public road, although if you were on the highway to start with then turned off it they may still be able to pursue you onto your private property. Once your an operator of a vehicle you need to make sure that everything is working, most motorists just jump in their vehicles and drive and assume that their brakes, traffic indicators, registration, insurance are all fine. Professional drivers of course are required to do a daily check for all these things and inform their company if the vehicle becomes unroadworthy, bottom line is once you chose to drive that vehicle on a public highway your responsible for it and any consequences relating to traffic violations.

Well first is this - I am not a mind reader nor do I own a tela-transport/time machine so I have to ask you to tell us what the inspection paperwork says about the specific violations.
Most likely if your company fires you, then they are a cheap pos company.
Most of what is described is on them, not you.
So don't sweat about it, you won't lose your CDL, you won't be the one paying the fines and I would suggest you take your state's CDL manual and learn the pre-trip steps, make it a routine every time you get into a company vehicle.
Oh and relax, drivers have done a lot worst and never had to worry about being fired or losing their license.Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this. -
Yea, we don't do points here in Louisiana.Grumppy Thanks this.
