75 down Donner huh?? Ok then...

So the truck applies the brakes/jakes, on a downhill? Must be one of them new fangled fancy computer driven rigs!
Actually mine will. But good luck convincing a judge...

I got too comfortable I've been getting away with it for Soo long and I tried keeping it around 60ish but that one time at least expected 3am he was sitting there and it was too late.

Sadly my Volvo right now doesn't have Jakes or engine brake, it is stuck in Casper wyoming getting rebuilt and it will have engine brake again, like factory, also it has a setting let's say cruise is set for 70mph, I can set the engine brake to engage at 75 if I wanted to. Its on new trucks 2008+ iirc, mine is a 08 Volvo 780 so its really not fancy new lol

As far as the update just got back from court and I plead not guilty will see what happens next month hoping Chp doesn't show up if he does I'm going to plea a bargain and hope they bite

My 2011 780 has the same system. That 4 position engine brake stalk is pretty nifty IMO.

Yeah its great, best part is you dont have to lean forward to flip the switch on the dash, when I drove my truckS twin one that does have a engine brake, I couldn't tell if it was on or not it was Soo quite

and also apparently ineffective! Hhahahaa

Hi SheepDog!
Thanks so much for your post. I hope all worked out with your traffic citation? I know it was quite a while ago, but I was wondering if you can tell me how your experience was with Interstate Truckers Ltd. My husband (14-yr trucker) got his first speeding ticket...but going 60 in a 45 in a work zone. Yikes!! In any event, it is so difficult to find attorneys specifically for truckers that are real attorneys and not "referral services." I came across Interstate Truckers but still cautious.
Were they successful in handling your case?
Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Sincerely,
Jonelle
