Well after a month of being unemployed after leaving Werner to go to Knight, and getting screwed by Knight because I had too many preventables at Werner. Werner says I have 3, but I know for a fact 1 of them never even happened. Their lousy Safety Department was too lazy to get off their butts and go do an actual investigation. Instead they just assigned fault based on some pictures sent over a computer. The first 2 were minor, they were in my first 60 days of being out on my own (April and June). Haven't had any since.

Thankfully, FedEX didn't go off what was on my DAC. They only went off what was on my MVR which was clean. So I got on with a FedEx contractor here in Denver.

    Team Driving
    pulling doubles
    .50 cpm
split the miles the tractor makes
trucks are averaging around 5000 miles a week.
the math on that is $1250 a week gross.
Leave out Tuesday afternoon, back on Sunday for 34 hour reset.

Not a lot of other companies calling right now despite many applications put in. So I gotta take what I can get. At least it should be worthwhile. The money is good. Home every week.

My only obstacle is getting enough sleep while the truck is in motion. So I am gonna get some melatonin 5 mg tablets and see if that works.

About to go take my doubles test and then a road test sometime this week.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

He said it was team driving. The truck moves 1,000 miles per day, no problem. Sleeping in a bouncing truck will be the problem.
