Got Pre-hire thinking of going with TMC.

    well it sucks that they are chasing away good trainers i would almost pay one there bonus to get a good trainer to me it will be worth it to get the proper training and know what is really going on instead of just how to scrape by.

    Some of the trainers are really good and really care about teaching the proper way to do things, some just use you for another log book, and some really have no idea how to secure anything but the extra money and help folding tarps sounded good...

    Its really a crap shoot...Do you feel lucky??

    if it wasn't for bad luck i wouldn't have any at all so no but thats the strory of my life and i deal with it.

    BTW anyone know if i can get by with a passcard or if i have to get passport book. Between that and TWIC and hazmat I am going broke faster that i talk and thats fast.

    As far as I know a passcard will due, as long as you can cross the border with that(which I think you can) then you should be good to go.

    For TMC purposes a pass card will be fine.

    "The new wallet-size U.S. Passport Card is a travel document that can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry. Note that it cannot be used for international air travel. The passport card is more convenient and less expensive than a passport book".

    But if you plan to travel in the future to fly outside the U.S. then it might be worth it to get a passport instead.
