    You're a teacher, correct? Wow, a really big transition; my brother worked his way up to Asst. principal, his wife is also a teacher, and my mom retired from the school dept. in Boston.

    The teachers hours, vacations, holidays, summer breaks - you'll be missing those if you decide to drive!:biggrin_2559:

    Well I am a first teacher and it appears as I will be losing my position. I have already been surplused so my only chance is to land a position with another school. I figured I would give this a shot while the school district works out its kinks. I have always wanted to give this a shot and I believe now is the time. I start school at the end of May. Ill see how it goes and what job opportunities become available to me.

    Sorry to hear that. As you know Clark County isn't the only place having a hell of a time trying to keep education going on. . .

    Actually, it sounds like you are jumping from the fire into the frying pan, instead of the other way around! I personally couldn't imagine being a teacher in todays world. I'd end up in jail for choking out one of the little uh dears? . . .:biggrin_25513:

    Yeah its almost not worth going back with all the proposed cuts and more regulations. Its been a rough year will the uncertainty

    I called three more companies that claimed on their websites that they hire students and on the phone they stated that I needed experience?????? Dont get it
