I mean it's peaking out and you can't hold it anymore. So yes it's busting out.

I feel you, driver. Had more than one of those instances, myself.

I took it to mean you drive 85 and average 75.

Hauling oversize, in summertime I can get to the 70. Winter time, rarely. Not directed at me, but figured I would add my .02.

Back home, we call it "touching cloth".

Like has been quite correctly said in here, there is no one size fits all. Some just need to realize that and get off the high horse. If I have to hustle to make a curfew, sunset, etc, then I will put my foot in it a little harder. That curfew or sunset can make the difference between me sitting all weekend, or delivering Friday. It's called a knock on effect, and it happens more with oversize stuff than anything else.

I've always known it as "prairie dogging".

I usually get to my second place and take a dump there. The customer always knows where to find me if needed lol

By peace and quiet and security do you mean home time? If that's what you mean I am not away that much so I am not in a hurry to get home. I just don't see a need to spend $5 in fuel to race to the back of the next truck just to be 80 feet ahead of the last guy I passed. There is just too much traffic in NY, PA, MD, CT, MA, ON to drive like that.....I'm not going anywhere anyway.

Plus, I have delivery appointments and getting there sooner usually doesn't change that.

    RedForeman Thanks this.
