I didn't mean literary 30 seconds. I meant it. As soon as you pass 1 mile stick you're at the next one.

I don't mind driver running 55 or 60mph,please don't wait for me in hammer lane runnin 75 and change lane to hammer lane, that will piss me off,I mostly see the Mexican do that in Tx,i 10, they wait for me to come close and jump into hammer lane runnin 60,no I,m no prejudice to Mex but they like doing that..I prefer runnin fast, not of over 85, I am afraid tires can't handle that speed..

I have no problem with how others want to run. Not my truck, fuel, maintenance, etc. But it does beg the question though, if you are getting a decent rate so that you do not need to run like that and between the better rate and the fuel savings running slower, why wouldn't you? Some don't see the benefit of running with their hair on fire, and they still make a decent living and are home as much or more than others. I am not that naive to know that in some cases, one does need to "put a wiggle in it" so to speak. Grain hauling, livestock hauling, and other things, one needs to get somewhere and get the load off to pick up the next one. Getting that extra load that day can exceed any fuel savings by running slower.

Just like it is stupid to have an HOS that is this one size fits all nonsense, it is hard to pigeon hole every trucking operation into a generic standard. But there are many situations where running like trying to set pole position at Daytona really doesn't make much economic sense.

Because he like so many dont pay attention to the law even though its posted all over the place. Slower traffic keep right except to pass many states have those signs but zero enfourcement but even if it was notthe law. It is what 90% of the population is missing common courtesy. Well not so common now days.

It appears that even you do not pay attention to the signs.

Speed limit is 55 in most of those areas as well. If you were doing the speed limit, you would not be passing anyone or be concerned about slower traffic keep right.
