This is exactly the moment where capitalism is doing its job. Grinding the weak out. If you cannot find money, park it or jump in someone elses seat, YOU are one of the ones who was not supposed to be in.

This is the hard fast crunch thats gonna get rid of 30% of the trucks that shouldnt be here.. The moment everyone whined for. Pray for a swift fuel hike too.

Socialism is a disease that never fails to spread from where you meant to inject it, and never stops growing. Govt regulation will ensure that the problem becomes perpetually incurable.

Forget about price determining the allocation of scarce resources. Doesn’t work in our crony-capitalist/quasi-fascistic (government control of privately owned means of production) economic system.

If we were an autonomous collective that derived it’s mandate from the masses of truckers, instead of a farcical “let three hundred million individual choices” decide supply-and-demand ceremony, we’d realize that we left this bogus England place to get some cool rules. But if our central planners can’t get us some cool rules—pronto—then we’ll just be bogus too!

    Government shouldn’t regulate profit period.

simple fix is regulating brokers like they do truckers.

    State licensing system.

Broker clearing house just like truckers.

I have no desire for government to regulate anyone but don’t regulate one sector of the industry while letting the other side roam free.

    either all or none.

I was thinking the same thing. It's people regurgitating the same stuff on a different day. I think I'll just copy and paste the other threads here...by the way, how is the weather? Lol

Everyone is upset about hard times. I would say relatively inexperienced owners or bad owners who are unprepared for bad times. I don't know when folks are going to understand that bad times don't last forever, but on the flip side, neither do good times.....

What's stopping you from starting your own private sector reporting service for good and bad brokers, like DAC but for brokers?
