I had mine come set at 85mph because at the time when I ordered it (April 2021) there wasn’t any of the EPA21 motors out yet so nobody really knew what could and couldn’t be changed once the truck showed up. We went with 85 and maxed out the idle timer just in case that stuff was locked out when the truck came in. It has more to do with the fuel economy standards for Class 8 trucks than it does with any warranty. They simply may not have the ability to change it. I don’t know because I haven’t tried to do anything after I got my new one.
