Gp in Fairfax SC closing.

    Well.After 13 years in Fairfax SC Georgia pacific is closing it's osb plant there.Got a Knoxville load earlier and it's dead.Shipping what product they have then curtains.Sad seeing this as it was one of few in the area that payed decent.

    They closed the particle board.near here last year and a big part of the Crossett,Ar plant too. 500+ lost their jobs there. And there is nothing in these small towns to take the place of these plants either.

    The sheetrock plant in Savannah Ga closed for a while but the folks there had other opportunities.Fairfax has nothing.I truly hate seeing this.
