Sorry but CoPilot Truck hasn't been updated for over a year and is way overpriced. Add to that it requires about every permission you can think of. I was looking for a good gps app but this one makes me want to pass.

The thing about phone apps if they see you on the phone while using it you're going to get a big fine and a violation

Well that is your choice to make, I've been using it now since mid 2014, I've never had an issue with it, and it's a lot cheaper than the larger GPS systems out there.

Trucker Ramon and 88 Alpha Thank this.

You can get a violation for distracted driving for using a standard GPS so what's your point

It is never in my hand I won't get no violation once I set it up for the Run that's all I have to do and I do that when I'm parked after I load.

Copilot is good.... try my one20 it's basically copilot but 100% free

Also try igo navigation. Not bad has 3D maps and stuff. Maps are 29$ and truck routes are 14$ all goodies come out to around 75$

I use an app called Waze. It is absolutely free and works better than any truckers GPS that I've ever owned.
I downloaded it (again...free) on my Samsung/Android system Smartphone but it works well for Iphones too.
Since it is constantly online, it is therefore giving real, up to date road maps as well as current conditions. It even notifies you of any police activity.... even the hidden ones.
As of this writing, it is designed primarily for four wheelers but it's accurate and realtime operation more than makes up for that.
Jjust be diligent in unfamiliar areas and avoid residential areas if possible.
Also, if a quick reroute becomes necessary, it works very fast to provide a new route in seconds.
Get a dash mount or a window mount and plug that baby in.
Theres no more need for any of these expensive and oftenly poor performing 'trucker specialty' Gadgets and gizmos anymore.
Just download Waze on your phone, and try it.

There were 3 updates last year. That I know of. I don't use it anymore as I'm local now. But I used it for 6 years. And she served me very well. Can't say that about the other brand I tried. And I'm still hearing negatives. 6 years later.
