GPS Poll

I was thinking about investing in a GPS but after reading these post I am thinking my phone does about as good.

 

Your phone doesn't take into account size/weight/height of the vehicle. I use multiple things to help me trip plan and avoid stuff.

Your phone/GPS/CB Radio/etc... are tools. NOTHING replaces common sense and paying attention. If it don't look right, there's probably a reason.

 

Your phone will consume a lot of data and there will be places you lose signal. Lose signal. No more map access.

 

You can use your phone as long as your using a truck GPS. Such as copilot. Fully downloaded to any phone or tablet. No internet needed unless you want traffic
