when have I had answers about everything? I just stated I doubt they rely on the gps systems to do their planned attacks, I know I wouldnt....plus these terrorist normally plan for months if not years before a big attack so im sure they are prepared for a gps to go out on them.
As for moving on not soon enough...Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
Dang Frank...both barrels!!! LOL
-
I agree with Wolf - they would not be so stupid as to rely on a GPS system for navigation or anything else.
If the GPS system was intentionally degraded for that reason by the govmint, well, I see where the stupidity is.
It's with the same type of people that mandate a 30 minute rest period for every 8 hours on duty, and 2 1-5 AM periods during our 34.
Barfacrats - who know nothing and understand even less.Wolfyinc Thanks this. -
my gps put me "off road" for a little over 30min today, I went into a scale and then less than a mile from leaving it it decided to go out. Could of been the weather too I guess, rained pretty good since I left Portland to around Redding, CA
-
It's not the weather.
How old are your maps?
I have not updated mine, and it shows me on no road sometimes.
My GPS is 2 years old, so there are many changes that it can not account for.
It was either spend 100 for the maps, or 300 for the new RM 520 with lifetime map updates.
Since it is 2 years old I was holding out for the cash to get the newer model.
Then I got an e-mail from RM, telling me I only had a couple days left for a discount for upgrading.
$100 off on the new 520 with lifetime map upgrades, as well as other features I want.
Just send in ANY GPS in return.
So I bought the 520 for $200, and I will send them my old car TomTom (?) in return.
The roads are changing very much right now.
Construction everywhere.
The GPS has to be up-to-date, if it is to be reliable. -
well if they say ANY gps give them the crap one
and its the QC navigation im talking about, I have not invested in a stand alone gps, I just use the good old atlas and QC -
I hate the QC GPS.
Not enough information - and what there is of it, it is usually not at the right time. -
I agree, why I dont solely rely on it
I might invest in a gps later but not yet -
Mine decided I was halfway across Atlanta the other day. I'm physically on 285 on the west side, GPS swears I'm on hwy 42 on the east side. For probably 20 minutes. Good, I didn't want to fight city traffic at the PFJ at whatever exit you're no longer telling me anyway! I'll just reopt somewhere up 75. (QC nav)
