Also I'd stick with a dump trailer way more versatile than these hoppers, plus around here the markets flooded with hoppers and farmers pulling on farm tags ESPECIALLY around Owensboro grain and Debruce at Maceo (what your referring to as in Owensboro)

I hauled 3 loads of bean meal out of the downtown Owensboro grain and I hated it cause you'd sit there forever waiting on them to get ready. Debruce at least loads you with a radio so you can hollar at the guy when your getting close so he can be ready to shut it off. Plus Owensboro won't let you leave heavy not even 80,500 Maceo doesn't care up until about 85,000 I've heard.

I haul milk in nw TN and western KY, and every farmer seems to have semis. Some of the larger farms I have seen up to 6 semis waiting to get loaded this fall. I wonder if they own all those trucks or if any are hired to help with the harvest?

I have hauled grain in the past with a hopper trailer, and some fertilizer.

Both S&S has like 25-30 trucks. Guy I work for has 2 farm trucks but when he gets in a bind the his trucking company trucks come in. Some times they hire out sometimes not...
