Is there any way to know how many miles a grain hopper bottom has for miles? I assume there is no odometer.

No, unless it has a hub odometer.

Even then, it can't be verified as to when a hub odometer was actually installed either.

If it was used commercially, I averaged 85,000 miles per year over 8 years.
If a farmer had it, they probably wouldn’t do more than 5,000 a year and possibly far less.

Who knows. It might be a low mileage 40 year old with it’s original tires still on it. Friend just found an ‘82 Timpte. Still like new.
