forgot to say during the summer you can go work for some one else and come back in the fall. sept 1 is when butane start again running again going into refinery that paid well and there alot of it to haul what terminal are you going to be out of cause that be a factor in what you haul

 

I was company driver for grammer at the very small location in TN. In the winter seen lots O/O hauling butane with us. Pretty sure they will run O/O ### off if you let them.

 

So did they keep you busy year round. Or is like the above poster stated it gets starvation slow.

 

We only had 10 drivers. So in summer just enough business for us. In winter the O/O would come help. But pretty sure they will keep you busy all and ammonia in Indiana. Area

 

If you work hard in the winter months you will do good and save some money enjoy time off in summer. It get will get slow in the summer but work does pop up just not steady. If you need 4K a week every week then this is not a job for you. You will make 5k to 7k week in the winter then 1k to 2k a week in the summer but I really enjoyed my summer off. Big moves do pop in the summer for one or two week you will make some cash just not steady. This is a 200 k year job or that what I made when I was there taken six weeks off in summer plus a couple weeks in the winter. But you got to work in the winter I worked six day a week. Plus weekend's and holidays cause that when you make the bucks 5k to 7k a week. You are never forced to work it up to you but if you don't work you are not going earn any money. You got to work when the work is available it a really good company to work for both O/O and company drivers also are really happy here.
