Grand Island Express?

My father drove for them in the late 90's. He had to have a quad bypass during his recovery the OWNER sent him a letter wondering why his mileage had dropped to zero per week in the last month. They never sent him a get well card or how are you doing just WHY ARE YOUR MILES DOWN. Nice company to work for huh. BTW he was a trainer for them and his last trainee put their truck on the wall in Des Monies IA and they did not want to fire him over that it took my father saying either you fire him or I am going to throw him out of the truck to get rid of him. This person had already had his training extended 3 times was on his 3rd trainer and they still did not want to get rid of him.

 

does any one know about Grand Island Express

 

They are a reefer company i see them at most cold storages im at.. Havent talked to any of the drivers other than normal conversation

 

After I get my cateracks taken care I was thinking of checking them out. All I know is that they pull reefers.

 

looking for info on grand island express in grand island ne? past or present drivers tell me anything about this company,they have a good website and claim their driver turnover rate is 40% or lower when the average is 120%.any info would be helpful.
