    That last line could qualify as the understatement of the year.

    I think that the hijacking of this thread qualifies it to be moved to the Jokes section.

    (as if it shouldn't have been a long time ago) :biggrin_25523:

    And I nominate Otherhalf and Nana for the sit down comedy act of the week. :biggrin_25522:

    Now why would you assume we were sitting? We are both highly trained, overly qualified, Professional truck drivers...(well one is a driverette)...we sit all day, so when we are contemplating the world orders and disorders, the state of our industry, the local chitter chatter of politics and sometimes Religion...we understand the need for exercise and staying fit, and a daily regime of push downs (finger tips on the key board), jumping jacks (reaching arm above head to scratch after reading some posts), squat thrusts (bending down to pick up the pencil/pen we just dropped), then after those warm ups...reaching down and picking up The Kama Sutra book...and thinking/wondering....

    My Lord...is that even physically possible without injury?????

    I included the definition/explanation for those on the forum that show some naivete...OBGYN comes to mind!:biggrin_25514:

    We're much nicer than C.R. England.
    But we don't candy-coat the truth.

    When things don't seem to make any sense, follow the Money Trail. The answer(s) can usually be found there.
    If you're lookin' for a "reasonable" explanation, you'll be lookin' for a long time. You need to read what those who did the CRE lease have to say about what's "reasonable".

    It makes you feel bad?!
    How do you think it makes US feel after reading the horror stories for several years from those who were suckered into a flease by CRE? There's a common theme to all of them that can't be ignored. It's not coincidental that it works for CRE. It's cleverly planned to work just the way it does.

    Thank gawd somebody finally listened to reason.
    Now, when you read the many horror stories already told, and all the ones yet to come, you can be thankful it isn't you posting them.
    That was a call too close for comfort.
    You really had us worried, KnightRider.

    You should post more often, Grandma Debi. You're quite popular and have developed a cult following of curious readers wonderin' how you and Virgil are doin'.
    You always know where we are, but we don't always know where you are.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~ snip ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    How often does CRE over pay y'all? Or do they just forget to add properly?
    Did you get to experience Fisherman's Wharf? Or that the Alcatraz tour?
    For some reason, our worst experiences become our best stories.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ snip ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Do y'all drive on the Oregon side of the Gorge, or the Washington State side?

    Well, it sure was nice to hear from the Grandmas Debe/Debi. Don't be such strangers. Your fans out here are rootin' for y'all, and like to know how y'all are doin'.
    We feared you'd dropped of the end of the Earth like so many others seem to have.

    CRE seems to be doin' even better in these "hard times"
    Imagine that and go figure.
    Obviously CRE is makin' bank doin' things other than relocating freight for peanuts. I wonder what it is?
    Is there any money in training wannaBees, then tellin' 'em there's no job openings?
    Is there any money in leasing Big trucks to newBees?
    Is there any money in re-leasing Big trucks turned in by broke lessees?
    Is there any money in shorting paychecks?
    Is there any money collecting hidden charges?
    Is there any money in dinging DAC's --- or is that purely pleasure?
    Dirty Deeds And They're Done Dirt Cheap.

    Who will be pickin' Virgil up? :biggrin_25523::biggrin_25521:

    Who gets the thanks for that?
    C.R. England, or Virgil?

    Who has time to be concerned with taxes when havin' fun? Just explain to the IRS that y'all lease a Big truck from CRE. They'll understand.

    OH!
    BTW, had GrandmaDebi, or GrandmaDebe been checkin' in here more often, y'all might have read the reminder that one poster mentioned about payin' quarterly taxes, among other taxes.
    Ahhhhhhh, it's only money.

    How 'bout ol' Virgil?
    Did he pay his taxes?
    If not,
    better plan on runnin' hard for the next few months.
    Maybe acquire a trainee, or two, at $300 each.
    Can Virgil afford to pay for two trainees?
    GrandmaDebi might volunteer to pick up the tab for one,
    ya reckon.
    You know, a sorta thanx to Virgil for puttin' up with a co-driver who jumps ship for two months out of three, ---- and just pick up where she left off.
    Talk about a sweet gig!

    Right here where we've always been, wonderin' where y'all are. It's y'all who don't visit here very often. We're easy to find.

    Last I heard from Billy, he was back in New York City drivin' a taxi, just like he was doin' before gettin' his hopes up and encouraged by GrandmaDebi.

    Billy and I had our differences, but I admire his courage to come back here after CRE kicked him to the curb, and admit we were right about C.R. England. I appreciate that, and his apology to me showed class. If those who encouraged Billy to come to Salt Lick and join CRE are "truly sorry", ..... well, ........ by golly, ............ they oughta be sorry. That was a mean thing to do.

    Happy Trails!
    Until we meet again, ..................................... :smt039

    I thought I did.
    Now I'm not so sure. :biggrin_25524: :biggrin_25523:

    I'm under six feet,
    but still above ground.
    Thanx for askin'.
    And you?
