Sad story, for sure, but how can you not outrun a python?
JoeyJunk Thanks this. -
Snakes like pythons, anacondas and other boa constrictors typically approach their prey by stealth, making very little or no noise until they strike.
This is exactly why the python issue in Florida has to be nipped in the bud. Because when those snakes start to run out of deer, alligators, and other little critters to eat, guess who’ll be next on the dinner menu??
These type of snakes are “apex predators”-top of the food chain!Last edited: Oct 26, 2022

Maybe, but it's hard to say. Young children would definitely be the highest risk. Snakes are excellent at not trying to kill something to big to eat and it's widely believed that even the large snake species wouldn't try eating most people because our shoulders pose a problem for a snake swallowing us. They try to go head first and our shoulders will get hung up on the sides of the snakes mouth. Places where snakes can and have eaten people have typically been areas in the world where people have a smaller stature with narrower shoulders.
Need to be eliminated from the Everglades regardless though, they are an invasive animal there that is decimating the native species.JoeyJunk Thanks this. -
They should check it for that missing 777 too
JoeyJunk and buzzarddriver Thank this. -
So getting run over by a reindeer is not grandma’s biggest worry?
mjd4277 Thanks this.
