I think mr gray was shut up!!!! step back in and tell us the real story about your junk equipment and bottom feeding company
-
He won't be back.
He knows he fell in over his head and is way outclassed by the same people he uses and has no respect for proven by just looking at his website! I wouldn't pee on a tire on any of those POS for that pathetic pay! $.34 CPM!!
Oh puleese, pick my silly old arse up off the floor before I laugh a needed body part off!
Thirty four cents per mile after 7 years?
That's an embarrassment even typing it in jest!
JimDriv3r Thanks this. -
That's funny! A mirror company of my Tyson haulin company. Everything Mitch says is correct. Gray, K&B, Hirschbach, they're all the same.

There are folks here and all over that wouldn't have a problem justifying that "fair" pay, but if a driver with 7 years of experience thinks that he is worth .34 cpm then have fun!!!
-
He should be making .37-.38 cpm is the going rate in the meat industry.
Those companies are pulling $3-$3.30 cpm loads from Tyson. -
I know, that $2.45 was what our rate was 03/2008 before I came off to do my battle! That was on my last voucher but doesn't show the $.27 FSC for a total of $2.75 not to mention the hazard NYC pay tolls and lumper! They did pay a layover but dropped it after reconfiguration of the route and all those extras!
If I were to ever get by ducks marching to the same drummer after the last 2 years of freaking doctors and surgeries I'd get my own and sign a contract with Tyson and get that route back as I still get calls from "my" customers all the time asking me when I'll be back!
That's where being a good businessman comes in handy in this business! Take care of those paying your bills!
Another good practice is to take care of your employees! Take care of them they take care of you! It's been happening for decades in trucking and could go on if greed would look at where it's put head!bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
My hubby did Zoo runs for another company before moving to Gray. Now anyone that's done a zoo run, especially Chicago, knows the PITA that they are. He was begging for the zoo runs after moving over to Gray. Gray didn't give a hoot about him, or anyone else that worked there.
