If you're talking about me......no.....not with Lonestar.

The nickname(Lonestar) is something the moderators decided I should have shortly after I joined the forum.

You'll notice others with nicknames as well.

Stick around long enough and some moderator with a sense of humor will probably find a suitable reason to give you one too.

Saw an add Wednesday, Chalk Mountain Services, is looking to hire 35 Class A CDL drivers asap. Pulling pneumatic bulk trailers hauling frac sand to the Eagle Ford Shale Oilfield in South Texas. Terminal located in Pleasanton, TX. Anybody know anything about Chalk Mountain? I have been trying to find info on the net, with very limited success.

They're an alright outfit. Pretty good equipment...Petes and Intls. Well kept up.

They're a newer entry into the frac sand business, but they're an OLD established company that had to change with the times.

They started out around Mansfield, Tx hauling water then moved into also hauling sand a couple of years ago.

They work the same wells we do in The Barnett Shale field.

    SoTexCoyote Thanks this.

would it be a better idea to try and get in hauling the crude off the wells? seems that would last longer right?

Not so much......most of that unless the well is remote goes directly to pipeline.

Same with production water.....still there's a call for those drivers and
    most make a good living.

    rigdriver84 and rookietrucker Thank this.

thanks . but do you think there will be a need for waterhaulers for a while to come, or just short term. also wondering what is a decent area to move to . i want to move somewhere not crime ridden and trashy. decent schools for kids. any suggestion?. im trying to get all the info i can. im from the country area in illinois and am used to rural narrow roads. im not interested in all day city pick up and delivery. thanks for your time
