Ahhh, Werner driver getting a counseling for a hard braking incident.

 

Just calling it like I see it! Very dumb post. In other news I saw a driver backing up. He almost hit a truck but then wait for it....................... He got out and looked didn't hit it. Just thought I'd tell you all.

 

thats why i run a dashcam. to help those dummies make the right decision.

 

Ugh, so painfully true.

I'd call just to let them know the hard break critical event was because of an incompetent 4wheeler.

I'm looking forward to my road test for the two "collisions" I had while driving through a tunnel the other day. Horray for the mobile eye! Our protector and savior

 

Some of the comments show the loyalty and engagement to the job. Maybe not note worthy to most,but to one driver it was a lesson. How about a thumbs up or better yet a shut up if you can't say anything nice.
On another note, the driver prob got a message to call safety about the hard brake event. During his next safety ( computer based ) training session he most likely have to review the " Close quarter maneuvers " video. Review doesn't hurt anyone.

 

Poor guy has probably already been fired for hard braking. Qualcomm hard brake report auto uploaded to DAC to save time.

 

hard brake doesnt go on your DAC. only chargeable accidents/preventables.

 

Not true. What goes on the HireRight report is what the company puts there. I have an incident that is marked as 'non-DOT reportable' and have to explain it each time. I don't specifically know about hard braking, though. Maybe that's different.

 

and with Werner, the Safety Dept is the only one that can put anything on your DAC.

hard braking is not one of them.
