    My stepbrother, from the UK, wants to get his cdl, and my husband asked if he even can since he has a green card. Anyone know???

    i start school for my CDL next week and i too have a green card, as long as he has a US drivers licence? oh and also make sure his brit passport is current just incase he runs canada..and also in regards to his hazmat endorsement, you dont need to be a citizen, just a lawful permanent resident.

    hope this clears it up..

    if he has a green card--he is set to go----just make sure about the passport--always good to have no matter what you are doing
