It’s my first time posting here, so please bear with me. I came out of retirement and proudly passed my CDL course today. I never thought I would be doing something like this, but I am doing it. Through hard work and Gods grace of course. Now, I’m looking to become a professional driver. I live in Houma, LA and am looking for job suggestions. Wish me luck in my new endeavor!
Greetings fellows

Congratulations!!! I used to run in Louisiana quite a bit, but never got as far south as you are. I’m sure you can find something though. There’s a lot of trucking in Louisiana.

Lousy Anna is a great flatbed market. I’ve met a good amount of drivers making a good buck from LA. Get some experience with a rookie company or a company that’s willing to give you proper training. Don’t settle for less. Google maps is your friend, search for trucking companies and start calling around.
OldeSkool Thanks this.
