That is sweet. Never saw that before. How long does it take to empty and do you ever have to clean the trailer? Yeah, I will definitely keep Walsh in mind.

Takes about 30 minutes for me to get unloaded,I throw down a sweep tarp that pulls most of the material (wood planer shavings) out with it.
The rest of my loads be it chips, sawdust or hogfuel gets tipped like our possum belly trailers.
That pretty much cleans out the trailer well enough.

That's cool. I'd seen that on a much smaller scale. Pretty impressive.
So at what times do you hit Tacoma? If you took the 512 E at Lakewood and went 2 exits to Parkland was the area I lived.Last edited: Jan 30, 2014

If all goes as planned my trailer is at the yard in Kalama pre-loaded when I get there at about 6:45 and I'm hooked up and rolling out at 7:00.
That gets me up to Tacoma at about 9:00ish.
I take the 18 East to the 164 to get to Auburn but I've gone the other way (512/167) many times as well.
I spent 8 months delivering Dollar Tree stores in Oregon, Washington and Idaho so I've been all over the place in trucks up there.
Must be a couple hundred Dollar Tree stores in NW WA alone and I've been to most of them at one time or another. -

Going on 4 years now, it's ok but the hours can be long.
I spent 16 months unemployed after losing a job I'd been at for 24 years due to the recession so I was just happy to be working again lol.
I never cared for OTR, only had to do a year of it but I spent a year on graveyard when I started chip hauling and that was hard too.
Then I did a year of Tue-Sat work before landing this live floor gig and a Mon-Fri schedule.
It takes some time to work into something you want unless your aim is living in a truck doing the OTR thing. -
Y2K thank you for your info and really appreciate your posts.
