I've had a lot of trucking jobs since 1990 and I'm telling you that my trucking career didn't really get better until I got into cryogenics and that was only 5 years ago.
I wish that I would've done it 20 years ago.
Take that for whatever you will. Good luck.
EJMAdrienna Brown and rubberducky68 Thank this. -
Do you have any recommendations you can make about cryogenic companies to check out? Airgas is like 5 minutes from my house. Not sure what other companies are out there. I have seen Praxair out on the roads but not sure if they are near me.

Air products- has slow trucks but good pay and we'll maintained
Air liquide/ Airgas-has cameras
Linde-has hourly pay, cameras, micro manage beyond believe
Praxair- has cameras, and hourly pay.
Mathason- has cameras and are about the smallest of the private carriers.
Most others get contract work from the above listed. But the choice is yours. Cryo and LPG are the top of the tanker world depending on where you live or amount of work load out of the location.Adrienna Brown and rubberducky68 Thank this. -
Anywhere but air liquide or air gas I'd say but that's just my opinion.
I really do love cryo. though. Like I said, I wish I would've done it years ago.
Keep us updated!

Airgas is not looking for an drivers right now. Air Products does not have any openings. Praxair is nowhere near me. So...Not sure what direction to go. I do have a phone interview scheduled for next Monday with Waste Management for that coal ash hauling gig. We'll see what happens with that.

U
Ups freight was needing a driver in Jeffersonville. Wow how is life in those parts. I haven't been to that flea market in 5yrs -
Ugh. I used to haul fly ash A.K.A. Coal ash in bulk tanks. I think that I still have grit in between my teeth from it. It gets everywhere. Awful, awful stuff....especially if you plug up while unloading and have to disconnect your hoses to unplug it.
Adrienna Brown and x1Heavy Thank this. -
I'll stick a boom box on the floor and play a CD or DVD of a female enjoying her man at top volume. The two should go nicely what with the annoying sounds.
I for one appreciated your post. It is very informative to me. I hope those roll alarms are not backed by active braking on the specific relvalant tires affected. You could turn a propheticy into a self fulfilling fatal wreck by using the brake trying to solve something that is likel -
I used to tow bulk tanker for Lime in Powder. If you know anything wife was slamming me each night I come home caked in it. Litereally led to the tub drain being ruined. However, it was something that followed it's logical conlusion at a logical pace. I was provided filterization on a number of levels a Can it be found on mondayl even though I was to be number one to Altoona during the winter by example to 4 others. One of which would not be able to keep up. One of my foremen bosses remembered. Left me a blanket of schnapps which what it was relatively easy to keep quiet until Arlinton Pentagon Ready Mix were ready to take standard ones.
This lot around the plant was a fullsize one. room for 5 to back up to a silo, room for 3 more unlucky late ones to wait out and still be pumping when the first 5 returned with cement for Ready mix in a epic race. We ran so hard in those days thta sometimes I wrapped my head and poured water onto it to supplement the idea of no air or no heat.
decades later I turned in my Hazmat endorsement beause one dispatcher displayed extreme supidity and no respect whatso every time we went to get a chemical or bulk. And no tolerance for the extra freakng 20 minutes on hazmat routing. land of no, no and no followed by a giggle the payroll? Hardly any losses when compared in ordianry flatbedding. But don't tell him that.
To look over Dave_in_AZ we were cement Bulk, flatbed bags of cement.,f.aweeeeeandcitycode, state etc. and then stone dumps.
Central of Jersey controlled tanker chemicals as did Grace in Baltimore among other locations.
Gasoline provided 25 years old and over drivers approaching 2000 dollars a week if they ran all 7 days a eek. Net. Logs? Ha. Well... not exactly ha. More like *&&^ there is DOT again where is my good logs? AHA.. whip shows to the MAN, examine his hat to see how long that thing has been woringinto his head, pull a 10 spot, bet him that he has put in 34 years. Coin up and dings on the pad.
That coin many a time decided enough was enough somtetimes when you perhaps had a oppertunity to leave subway behind a few days and go get something fresh to order across the street.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.
