Ah, the Yellowhead through Battleford. I did that with an old camper behind my pick-up. I swear the bottom of the trailer was rubbing pavement half the time. Two dogs and a wife all acting like I was crazy, trailer wobbling all over the road. Pulled off onto the gravel to get to final destination and got two flats just as the rain started...one on the truck and one on the trailer. Drywall screws. Nightmare camping trip.
I think the grooves would be easier to handle in something bigger. Tires would have been harder to change though.

those ruts on 16--i used to have to me knee on the dash of the old coe to try and keep it in the rutt and the wheel stable---it would just go into kind of a death wobble trying to climb out of the rutts
