At those speeds you might get there before your CB signal.

Drill the hole, Larsen nmo Mount with their 27mhz antenna. The roof will support it, cops, fire, CIA, FBI, black ops, and the men in Black suites have been using them for decades. You either want the best you can do, or compromise. When lives are on the line, this is what Life savers use.

It isn't rocket science, just do what works.

Don't let the "experts" here muddle up tried and proven methods with their theory and supposition.

Any mag Mount is a compromise in performance. There is no way to sugar coat it.

One properly done hole in the roof, with a professional grade antenna on it won't hurt resale or trade in value at all, might even increase it if a decent radio is left in the truck.

I'm a guy who don't play the feel good game. One day that CB might have a life in stake. Do it right or be another sheep.

I haven't found any of those "professional grade" antennas that are rated for my TS 500 amp! Or even my KL300..
