I like the Cascadia platform,i did look at a new coranado with dd15 @530-1850 plenty of power for pulling flatbed.i haven't really talked to anyone who has one.

Coranado is heavy and not supper aero...just my .02...but i heard they are built tougher then columbia or cascadia.
-
i'll have to check with dealer to see if the Cascadia chasis can cool that kind of power.
-
D15 can go on cascadia evolution....d16 can only go on cascadia. The evolution is a little more aero.

only reason i see why power cant go up would be driveline specs series 60 were good for 515 hp in 2009 on cascadia unless injectors are different in small hp engines
-
the motor, injectors and everything else are the same. its just ecm programming that seperates them. He could program in and extra 100 tourqe and just be stock for other trucks. The problem is they size the exachast and DPF based on what the motor is speced at. Unless he upgrades his DPF he would over load it if he ups the engine. This would cause it to fail and need tons of unscheduled maintenance. Thats the problem with dpf...the motor can handle it but the tail pipe and air intakes probably can't
-
truck is set at 515hp with 1650 driveline all other 60 series can be turned up but this one.engine code says non uprateable.i can't believe that this one has a different dpf than the other cascadias on the road.one would think that more torque and power with les throttle would be better than constantly on the throttle.better fuel mpg and less pressure through dpf.
-
Thats true...more torque available=longer engine life and better mpg and less dpf in your case. The main problem is the EGR increasing the amount of soot produced from cooling the peak combustion in the cylinder which causes more soot and more soot means the DPF has to work harder to burn off all the soot. If you didn't travel to california, i would just delete all the emissions junk and close that chapter.

should be possible to grab those gains
