The kind of place that doesn't want to go bankrupt.

I can't imagine a company paying $40 an hour + OT and paying for benefits as well.

    Concorde Thanks this.

Boy, we are from different worlds. 1st, I never got a dime in OT in the 35 years I drove a truck, and I worked for jobs paying $15/hr. BENEFITS INCLUDED! In fact, it was rarely brought up during an interview, just assumed it was included. Times have changed, and I'd much rather have benefits than time and a half today. If a company isn't reputable enough to have benefits for their employees, what else are they scrimping on. Pay? Repairs? No thanks, if they said no benefits in the interview, it would be adios. Come on, these companies are crooks,,,so GD frustrating,,it doesn't say much for someone willing to work with no benefits,:dontknow:
Here's a little related story of our times, went to the Laundromat the other day, price went up, for a med. size washer, $6.50( up from $6.00), and here's the kicker, I pushed the "hot water" button, it comes up$6.75,,,WHAT? You miserable crook, you charging me another GD quarter for hot water, ISN'T $6.50 ENOUGH? Hot water was supposed to be included with a wash,,like benefits at a job,,good luck with the future.

If you need health insurance than hop on marketplace and find a broker. I worked as w2 and used to pay $240 a month. Now I pay $150 for same policy as contractor . Sounds like you’re getting a good pay.

Colorado Rocky Mountain HIGH,,,and they ain't a kidding. Rent is going for $800 for a room, and if it wasn't for my govt. assisted apt. for seniors, I couldn't live here. The meaning of my last sentence, "good luck with the future", is in regards to just how out of whack things have gotten, and with no apparent relief in site, such as $6.75 wash, or $205 cable bill to receive this wonderful site. Soon, there just won't be enough money in the world to satisfy how expensive it will get. I'm convinced, the reason thing's are so expensive today, is people are beginning to just not buy these items, and the company has to increase the price to a level that the items they DO sell at such an inflated price, keeps them in business. It's a downward spiral we can't possibly pull out of, short of a massive depression. I hope I'm gone by then.,,,Good luck with the future,,
