    So, you think there is a mysterious protocol of sorts as how to approach shippers?

    Exactly, as said before, call them and tell them who you are and what you would like to do for them and maybe Sue will tell you to come over. Then dress nicely, and go and make your sales pitch.
    The most important thing is to believe in a successful outcome.

    I never tried it...I am too shy.:(

    You'll never get into the medium and big shippers with 1-2 trucks. Focus on the small Mom and pop type. You would be surprised on how much freight they move and are will pay good money for good service.

    More info on those dedicated routes. Wher can I find those and secure some of those deposits? Deposits are cool.
