yeah, sorry, but If i ever found myself in a situation like this, with a new company or even new in the industry period, sitting for a week, no food, no money, I would have been gone after the 3rd day. Especially with a co-driver? I would have told em to have fun cause I'm leaving. also, when I did take advances when I was OTR, i made sure to take the max I could (which was 150), they gonna charge you that fee might as well make it worth it. At first yeah it sucks, but theres a thin line between sucking it up and being in a situation where you just need to call it quits. everyones situation is different tho, when I was OTR I was single, so I didn't have anyone that I was providing for, and walking away from a company wouldn't affect anyone else but myself. Hope things get better for ya.

I know its a little bit of an investment but I would spring for the good fridges that cost around 200. Those things will keep your food cold the hot weather plus you will be able to keep milk and cheese and some cold drinks.
