    ok. yea i decided againsnt the job for the reason the job wasnt aval and then twice it quickly became avail. sounded to me2 drivers took job and quickly quit. im no diffirent then any other truck and if i didnt work for them im sure it was because of something i wouldnt have liked either. it was one of those jobs i saw on the job board often

    Hey Firetrucker. What kind of hometime are you seeing at Ewell? I've been there to get tanks sanitized with the company I drive for currently, and they seem like a decent place. I'm starting to look around again as my work with this company has slowed down considerably. I'm local, but I've been reduced to a 3 day work week due to the plant we deliver to shutting down every week for 4 days.

    At this point, I'd kind of like to stay with tanks, so Ewell is looking mighty good at this point.

    ok i live near charlotte. the no load thing come from them only have one place to get a load out of here. its was cargill that didnt have the loads not hr. since ive started i do two to three loads a week and get home. so far im happy the pay is alright with me too. ive brought home over 750 for just two loads in one week.

    What's the deal with Ewell out of PA?

    Talked to one of their drivers that had 37 YEARS with the company this week, he seemed very happy and said that there is no E-logs and that they treat you well...

    I don't know, but their Hours-of-Service (HOS) Compliance basic is "off the charts", which leads me to believe there is a lot of log book cheating going on there.

    That doesnt bother me (the cheating) but the off the charts compliance level (Getting caught) does! :x

    Had orientation today. Worknet never had my drug test sent out for testing. So im stuck sitting until they hear back from the lab. What a great way to start.
