I know how that goes.One time I took a test and the tester was new,she accidentally broke the plastic tab off and the results came back as deluted the next day and had to take another test and another day of sitting.

 

Well been on my own for two weeks now but i think i have only worked about 6 of them. sitting at home with no loads. dispatcher says same outlook for tomorrow.

 

Sounds like me with my local spring water runs for a different company. Get 2 out of 4 daily loads when I actually do get the chance to work...

 

Well my last week training we were really busy then when i stopped to get my truck i over heard my dispatcher on the phone telling someone they didnt have enough drivers to cover loads. but here i am sitting at home. They are telling us that once Pepsico/Gatorade gets their plant in Mountaintop Running on bulk sugar again we will get all the loads into there. I haul Dry Bulk Sugar there are 11 drivers and they are training another guy right now. so i certainly hope the work load picks up. I cannot complain about the pay though. for the loads that i have hauled it has been quite the payout for me.

 

Hows hr ewell working out for you I got offered dry and wet just seeing how you like it

 

Hey Hillbilly. I think you sent me an email a few weeks ago. Sorry I didn't respond. Icant send pm's. Its going well. I normally pull out of domino in Baltimore or L&S Sweeteners here in lancaster. Dispatcher is good. Put forth the effort and he will treat you good. I get home almost every day. The week being an exception. I hauled 2 loads into philly and ended being directed to Sparta NJ since they are short on drivers in Morrisville. Hauled some loads into Hackettstown NJ. Now I'm at the TA in Columbia NJ with a 1pm load in scranton. So if your not affraid to work the money is there.

 

They offered me baltimore dry or new castle wet. Thanks for the imput I just wanted to see if u liked it. Thanks and have a great day

 

For those getting home almost every night, are you running a day cab?

 

No all of the trucks have sleepers. There is one day cab but im not sure who uses it. there is also a terminal in Massachusetts that runs all day cabs. maybe 5 or 6 trucks tops.

 

Just beware...the sleepers are small. The new Mack Pinnacles they have are small flat tops that appear to be of the 48" variety.
