Yes the new ones are small I have an older vision with a highrise. So much more room. Ive been in a New Volvo the last two weeks hauling liquid. Lots of cab room but sleeper is tight. Seems like they are trying to cut down on the weight.

That's kind of what I figured. I'd have loved to come over to Ewell (currently running a spring water tanker), but the size of the sleeper kept me from making a move. Too claustrophobic for me.

I am a recent class a cdl graduate with my tanker endorsement. I was just at my school's job fair and I was told that HR Ewell may hire recent grads. I would like to know if its true?

I've been with HRE for a year now. When I was hired they wanted one year driving experience but that may have changed.
I run out of the Charlotte NC terminal (A tank wash we park at) and up until 2 weeks ago I was OTR and making decent money.
Now they switched the Charlotte crew to short haul and local work so the money is drying up. Not much local work for us.
Might be time to make a change soon if things don't turn around.
Overall a good company to work for, Good people and very well maintained trucks.
I don't want to change companies but gotta make a living.

What difference does it make? If you're an experienced CDL driver, you shouldn't have to worry about it, as you shouldn't have been using...

    RJ33RD Thanks this.
