Agreed. Thats where I was going with my scenario. Ive worked for companies that say they pay hourly but then learn after a month its rate based on the perfect trip.

Stop being so literal, Im using it as a generalization you know that. You're trying to deflect, and side track the scenario. I can make another scenario that would accommodate fuel, pre trip post trip, tire checks , and breaks if you like.DRAGON64 Thanks this.

Please don't, it was hard enough to make you understand your first scenerio and getting paid by the hour for all hours worked.
not4hire Thanks this. -
You're not for real are you ????? There has to be a hidden camera somewhere.
If you can't understand that I pay for ALL FRIGGIN; HOURS WORKED. I don't know what else to tell you except go flip burgers at McDonalds.. Oh jeeeezzz... They pay by the hour!!!!
Probably 13 hours Vancouver to Edmonton. If you chain up I pay you, if you stop for a crap I don't pay you. I don't care how long you sit on the crapper..

Its all good Nate I understand just fine.
Its getting those to actually admit if they pay for all the hours a driver really works, and whats considered working and not working.
Im sure you'll respond with some smug comment attacking my line of questions or attacking me personally about how I dont understand. So lets hear it Driver25hz Thanks this. -
Awesome so you would pay for time at the Kamloops Scale getting a government inspection if it took 4 hours, and 2 hours on the side of the road while Kal tire changed a tire?
There was no mention of expecting to get paid for taking a crap. Im talking about hours behind the wheel of your truck. -
"so literal" wtf is that?
theres literal or not literal, no gradients of -
Clearly the most obtuse posts I have seen on this forum... or you're just a troll.rzl-dzl Thanks this.
