worked for them almost 2 years and they are easily the worst managed company i have ever come across, they do not know whats going on they dont want to know whats going on they dont give a rats ### about whats going on, they will leave you sitting for days on end they will forget about you they will abuse you they have absoultly no clue how to run that company. and my uk friends dont even think about coming here to start over, they will hold your residency over your head over 3 years treating you like garbage you will be expected to jump through hoops while your kizzin their azzz and thats no joke. the driver mangers they hire to answer phone and messages are a waste of skin you get their daily whine were to busy to answer phones stop phoning and use puter which they dont answer their in there 7 hours they might work a hour they dont care now 1 step up managment who over look the driver mangers apparently blind big failure in this company its the downfall quite certain they cant dress themselves in the morning they should be in that postition they are the ones letting the driver managers get away with bull. medium and high managment are not bad they placed what they had to place to make it work but it stops there they dont look down at lower managment because they dont want too. theres not one half decent drivers lounge across canada your better off sittin in a snowplow gulley you have the same from their lounges they dont care about the drivers. trucking 101 is missed the driver is your asset not your driver manager their a dime a dozen they have to recruit out of country becase they cant get driver here by the way they treat them the mangers dont realize we make their money you dont make ours this comapny cannot run without us but it can run without you we give them the easy part of this job work 7 hours a day home every night every weekend close to ammenities at all time and they have the balls to whine we dont have the time or were to busy to give a crap about you, they dont see you putting in 16 hour days to make their paychecks while they sit in their cushy offices doing nothing for you they dont help you their worthless random runs to random drivers something a 2 year old can do send your hours in check in calls every day waste of time oh you got 10 hours left to run heres a 30 hour run umm hello can you read pathetic fire every manger they have and the mangers that watch them and start over their no fixing that bull they have now and its getting worse 3 steps back no step foward their going to crash altogeather and they still dont realize they have to treat drivers with respect or you wont have driver so easy yet they scratch their headof to which country should we try recruiting this month in completly oblivious trying to keep the good drivers they have they would rather spend thousands of dollars bringing more over they bring in 20 drivers at a time and 19 go home hello does anyone see a future for this company ???

I resigned last week from this 5hit company. After working for them for 4 months, Some one told me the company's attitude changes if you have worked for them for 6 months , But when I went into the office to resign Hutch told me its the 4th resignation with in this week. One guy who had worked for H&R for 9 months , another did 7 months , another was in the 6th month. feel free to ask me questions if you are planning to come over to Canada with H&R.
I have now changed my LMO with another company who atleast treats me like I am a HUMAN. I lost my self respect while working for H&R . They treat you like a piece of 5hit ... & for them you are like a Slave... wait for 22 hours , wait for 23 hours and you get a message in the 23rd hours ..Go to yard and move this trailer to there.. Reason.. if you cross 24 hours doing nothing they will have to pay you $100 for layover.. so they asked you to go to yard which is 2 miles ... see how they saved themselves $ 99.20 . You earned $ 0.80 cents in 24 hours.. What a Company... -
Welcome to the forum banku. Sorry that your first post here relates to a lousy experience elsewhere. If I'm not mistaken, the example you used is one of the reasons Bessner unionized to the Teamsters. I also believe that that union is trying to unionize Challenger as well.
