half quality inverter

seemed time for an update.

i got one of the ground loop isolator devices. rca plugs and all. worked for a couple weeks then seemed to just get worse. decided to try something else. started looking at those FM transmitters. picked up one at walmart for $30. it gave me the same buzz, really nice when the laptop was unplugged though. the one i got from walmart was powered from a 12v socket. last night i got a very cheap looking FM transmitter from a TA for $20. powered from a usb plug. perfect audio with the truck running and the lpatop plugged in.

oh i know the source of the buzz is the inverter. but i cant afford a sine wave inverter. would cost more than the laptop did new, 4 years ago.
