I tried Hammer recently for the first time in a few months, and I'm impressed with the progress being made.
I'm planning to use it in real time on my next load, and I'll try to remember to post an update.
Hammer has improved significantly

Ok, today wasn't the day. It was a, let's say challenging, low miles day. Will try tomorrow.
Anybody want some yogurt?NavigatorWife Thanks this. -

Me, too.
It was really crappy peach yogurt. Kind of nasty, and when I say this, I'm a guy who really likes decent yogurt.NavigatorWife and gentleroger Thank this. -
Ok, I'm impressed with the progress.
Hammer is now a tool I can, and will, use.
The only issue I've had so far this morning is that the display fritzes a little. I run in North Up mode, rather than Heading Up, and sometimes the icon representing my truck runs right at the lower edge of the display. It's not a show stopper, and I suspect it's probably hardware driver related, as I'm currently running an ElCheapo Moto e6 due to my S9 being, well let's just say I'm trying to figure out how to flash it.
Anyhow, good going, Hammer devs! You've come a long ways, and I'd say you're definitely doing a great job.
I'll continue using Hammer alongside my Dezl 865CAM, but again, I'm very impressed with the progress.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Ok, so the only problem I had with Hammer today was the display issue that I mentioned, with the icon staying near the lower edge of the screen. Annoying but not a show stopper, and I also noticed that it only seemed to do this in 2D mode, if I switched to 3D it seemed ok.
A suggestion: it would be helpful if the icon would rotate to point to the heading, rather than due north, but now I'm getting nitpicky, which should tell you how much the app has progressed.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Anyhow, continued using Hammer last night, in city situation, it did well in Sacramento.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
@Blue Zombie Trucker, Thank you for your feedback, we will definitely look into the icon issue, I am not sure if it is device related. But happy to hear the Hammer App has been working out for you.
NavigatorWife, Badmon and Blue Zombie Trucker Thank this.
