Hanging in there.

    Today was the first day of the second week of school. I am trying to maintain a good attitude but I'll tell you this morning was brutal. Three of us students and an instructor took a tractor and trailer on the road. I had an unbelievable amount of trouble double clutching. It seem my foot wants to drive a car. The funny thing is the instructor had me drive back to the yard and back way up. Then I shifted all the forward gears with no probelm -- three times in a row. I got so frustrated I had a wicked headache for lunch. After lunch we did offset backing. We had a different mellow instructor who was very helpful. After about three tries I did great and was actually comfortable with it. It ain't easy that is for sure. I have a lot of respect for the guys that make it look easy.
