a month after your interview
-
For me it was. It has a lot to do with the training schedule and availability
-
Yes. I interviewed then they called 2 weeks later. Had to go take physical. Then they called 2 weeks later said I was hired. And now it's been another 2 weeks waiting to go to training.jdc68 Thanks this.

I kind of figured it will be some waiting involved so I'm fine with that it's like I had cold feet at first for some crazy reason I don't know why well I take that back I had gotten comfortable with the company I'm with so had to break that cycle plus it look like I have more home time then what I have now cuz actually I've got about a day and a half home time
-
I understand. I'll be running out of Memphis. He said I'd basically be home everyday might stay out a day if I get held up somewhere or if I volunteer to go load at another terminal.
-
that's pretty much what I was told, he also told me that slow down period was normally in July some plants close Plus the new year model is changing over
-
Guess we've missed the slow down period. We should be ok.
-
Yeah, we should be safe ! but he also informed me that if your terminal is slow you can haul out of another terminal ,
the terminal in Lawrenceville Georgia halls for GM, but he was telling me there's other terminals I can get loads out of so I feel confident they'll keep us working and moving pretty good I'll be taking a pay cut while training but I plan to make it back up after training -
I was told that also. I can run out of canton or Smyrna or Birmingham. So loads shouldn't be a problem
