Hey Shane I have interview Monday at the Orlando facility. I've heard nothing but positive things from few drivers I spoke to. Great benefits All stated they make minimum 1300 week home just about every day one guy out of naples
Said he does 2000+. I hauled cars from 01 to 03 Waggoners avg pay was 1100 home almost every weekend.
I loaded enclosed trailers hopefully not that much different from open car

Got called today for my physical and drug screen. I go Wed to take care of that. The manager I interviewed with told me all of his company drivers were making between $70,000 and $120,000. Just depends on how you want to run. He said some guys want to get home everyday and some want to stay out all week, and he trys to accommodate to what they want. I told him I had younger boys and that I didn't expect to be able to go to every game or function they have, but I don't want to miss them all either. He said that wouldn't be a problem and to just let him know when I need to be home and he would route me that way. For the most part you pick how and what you want to run. All the drivers I've talked to have told me the same as well.

I am very seriously considering them out of Lawrenceville GA. Got some irons in the fire that might make it difficult to be gone for training. are you gone for the whole time? If not I might go ahead and take the plunge. I love my current job but am attracted by the challenge and money of car haul.

Well my interview went well today, sounds like in houston tx you can be home daily or you can stay out. 2 weeks of training out of town then the rest of your training will be at your home location. They want you to work a minimum of 60 hours a week. But was told the pay is excellent when you get the hang of it. Hopefully I'll be ready to go in a week or two.

Congrats on the interview Chris. I done my physical and drug screen today. Where will you have to go to train. I'll be in Jacksonville, FL. I'm not sure if they train out your way or not or just in FL. I was told 3 weeks for inexperienced car haulers and 2 weeks for experienced. Then you come back to your home terminal to finish up your on the road training. Hell, we may be training at the same time.

Lol I kno right...that would be cool. I was told the same tho, she also said they send everyone to one place to save on hotel bill lol. I've never been to Jacksonville FL so that would be awesome. But still not sure where they gonna send me just yet.

Still waiting on my final call to start training. They said it may take a little while to finish up my background check and get my drug screen results. I'm ready to get the ball rolling and get this new venture started.

Okay, I'm gonna have to fill out my app that was sent to me .i was gonna try and wait until the first of the year but I need to get over my cold feet, I don't know why this seems like such a tough decision I know its good money to be made I didn't have this problem making a decision when I bought my own truck so I don't know what my problem is I guess it's just in the planning and not missing a paycheck while training.

You would get payed to train, $16.50 an hr I think, so you wouldn't miss but maybe one or two checks during the transition. I've got some vacation to cash in to hopefully fill that void.
