Not sure why you were turned down with as many drivers they are needing. Doesn't make sense

I almost got turned down by the Lawrenceville terminal manager he claimed he was looking for someone with experience, but the ad says willing to train I've got 15 + years and trucking 6 years as an owner I six and a half years flat bedding no incidents or accidents on my driving record so I would definitely call the recruiting department and find out what's going on cuz they are hiring
-
To tell the truth I think if you look over weight or too old they will not hire you a friend of mine got turn down at another car hauling company they kept saying in the interview it's not easy work the different car hauling companies I've interview with told me the same thing if you don't look like you can handle it in there eyes they'll tell you something different and you have to stay in there traffic lanes to that will stop you from getting hired also I lost out like that before it could be anything if your record clean shouldn't nothing stop you
-
I would call human resources to or apply to a different terminal or call another close terminal

I believe you're right about that age and weight I'm 47 not overweight but I guess he I looked at how much longer I'll be driving like I told him is not like my bills stop rolling in once I turn 50 I still need to make money I've got a family to take care of I'll talk to the lady proficient she was telling me the training is paid for from a grant but you have to be with them for 2 yrs ,to be off the hook for the training Plus be willing to be out two weeks at a time
-
I was hired there they told me 5,000.00 for training and a loan I said I'll pass lol. But the guy told me since I stay in Alabama towards Tennessee I could make it home most weekends tho. And with the age and weight it plays a role I'm 30 years old and the guy interview me he told me this should be easy work to you since I've haul and deliver groceries
-
oh I'll get the grocery hauling -
I meant to say I'm done the grocery hauling before with McLane foods here in Georgia, and Dunkin Donuts distribution that used to be here in Georgia trust me I don't miss those 80 pound bags of sugar stack five high on a pallet with 6 pallets on a truck then when you get in the store the guy asks you to rotate his stock ok wait on it my job is not to rotate stock
-
what auto hauling company runs those Tan and burgundy Peterbilt they have day cabs and sleepers I see them quite a bit
-
Try Jack Cooper transportation they're hiring 75000 first year for new car haulers Plus A $12,000 retention bonus paid out the first year that's what the ad says
