I wouldn't mined being out a couple nights a week , at home on the weekend. I'm gone now monday night through Saturday evening ! even though I'm back in Atlanta everyday because of the time I arrive back and the distance I live from the terminal I work at 66 miles away from home in Atlanta traffic is a three and a half hour

what I meant to say its a three and a half hour commute to my house that time of the evening so what I normally do is pack a bag for the week shower up at the terminal and go back out that night I run team with a guy he 20 minutes from home so it works for him some kind of use to be in on the road overnight , I'm hoping to here from these guys real soon so far I've only talked to the recruiter in California named Anna I don't know if I should call maybe a manager to speed things up but it's only been 2 days yes I'm being inpatient how long did it take you guys to hear from them

It's been a little over a month since I first talked to the recruiter in CA. As soon as I got off the phone with her I called the terminal mgr in BHM. He sent me an app in the mail next day. I was interviewing and physical/drug screen the next two weeks. After that it was about a week and half before I found out when my class started. I would definitely contact the TM at your location.

I just talk to the manager in Birmingham on how I get there and how long it takes for them to process a application. He told me it will probably be a week before I hear something. I'm guessing that's if they want me or not.

That's great then JDC68 hope everything goes well for you. I hope to hear something by next week. I've been emailing the manager and talking to him on the phone it was a man by the name of Lance I don't know if he the manager or a recruiter tho. I'm trying to stay in touch with him so he knows I really want to be apart of the company

Lance was the TM in BHM up until two weeks ago. He has took a job in recruiting now. He was the one who interviewed me. The new TM is a guy named Richard. Either one should be able to get you going quicker than the guys in California. They told me they were trying to fastline the hiring process due to driver shortage.
