Happy with windy hill

Hey Sand-Pile-Confederate, are you driving for Windy Hill? If so, how do you like it? How much are you making per mile, per week, etc. Any other info would be helpful also.

I've also signed on with Windy Hill, after hearing all the large carriers recruiting lies I decided to go with the most modest liar. Donnie was very nice, they only have two recruiters, one in florida, Donnie and the other in Wisconsin, dont know the name. .32 cpm for the first 3 months .35 after that with no accidents, .38 after 8 moths no accidents. Most drivers I spoke with there average around 2500 miles a week. They also average around 12 plant drops first week out. The average miles on first week out is around 1600 plus the drops so $300.00 plus miles first week out. Will I get rich? No, but having 7 uncles who have all driven rigs, and my best friend I say to all the peeps telling others not to go with windy hill to get off your high horse. Going with Swift, Werner, U.S. express etc is the the same if not worse. They run cheap freight with cheap drivers. Your a number and a badly paid number at that. Windy Hill has 160 trucks. You wont get turned into a number there. I'd rather be called by my first name and given a smile while making the same as the werner, swift, big pumpkins, than be known as 344. There is no one trucking job for beginners that pays well. We all have to earn our pay. Be it less miles more cents or less cents more miles.
