The Marshal's office has a very specific set of duties...investigating/resolving truckers problem whether real or imagined, serious or trivial is not among them. This is one of the oldest TTT (Trucker's Tall Tale) out there...my uncle (retired) worked for the Marshal's office, and he said they might get 10 of these calls a month and they had to talk a driver down saying there's nothing they can do.......and don't call about this again. You say they laughed when you called...call a second time and they won't be laughing, they'll be warning.

Just like the old tale, if you go into Califorina witha filthy truck, you will get a ticket. I live 60 miles from the Truckee Scales, and never have washed my truck, to go into CA. Same for Banning.

Wait till the honeymoon is over.

Glad i left them. No more rail no more regioanl, no more 200 milers. Nothing but back to back 2,000 + mile trips. No more ####### nite shift, calling me in the middle of sleeping, are you ok for otd,,, while my truck is parked at the cust. No more fighting with rd service trying to get something fixed out on the road, when it could potentioanly put me oos.
No more having to talk to the office behind a bullet proof window, or locked door. Walk in sit down and start talking. NO MORE DRIVER #!
Bring home more money, than i did in the last 3 months at marten.

US Marshalls have nothing to do with trucking. As soon as a drivers brings up calling the US Marshalls about some problem you know instantly he is full of crap. Also if a company has to provide you with air conditioning you would not see trucks getting ticketed in anti-idling states such as New York.
