Lol so you'll turn down 4.25/mile on 963 miles just because you won't load over 35000?

I've run heavy in everything I've ever done it ain't that much harder on the truck never have I had a problem overheating, never have I blown a rad, or twisted off a driveline. And I've hauled heavy...#### heavy try 92000 gross on a spread and I was compensated well for what I did. I regularly ran 80000 gross never had problems. Yes I've blown air bags before that's normal though and it never happened when I was heavy always blew a bag when I was under 80,000.

If you're worried about ruining a truck loading heavy you need a better truck or better maintinance sorry that's just the nature of the beast.

It doesn't burn that much more fuel with a little more weight. And it doesn't cause that much more wear and tear when that's what it was built to gross in the first place. Id rather haul heavy than sit and wait.

Yeah, I turn down every load that is heavy, goes where the wind blows, or isn't following a river downstream. Gotta keep my fuel cost down.

    Lol

Fuel cost is down to a whopping 2.71 a gallon as of today in town...the not so funny thing is it has also affected the rates according to a friend of mine who's a broker. Kinda sad they didn't want to pay more than 2 a mile when fuel was 4 I'd hate to see what they want to pay now.

LMAO, that's true I know what you mean. I told a guy this week, "If you can't find anyone else I can DH 300 miles to PU for $1,000 extra but keep looking because I don't really need the work but I don't want to see you in a bind either."

Your not kidding, you would think it was .99 cents a gallon.

That bad huh? I get a decent discount now paid 2.69 one day last week and 2.61 the other day paid 2.59 today I'm paid on the round because I have to deadhead back to the terminal. Talked to a company driver today that works for an O/O for the same place I'm with guess it hasn't hurt us as much. He's still making $350 to go to KC and he gets 25%...I can't say weather that's gross or net that he's paid off of though. I'd assume net since he's been working for the guy a month and still hasn't received a check that's a sad situation let me tell you
