TTR has the CDL test on here that you can study. I also downloaded the app...DMV Genie. I used both to study my hazmat and tankers endorsement renewal.

Sit in the DMV parking lot and read the relevant section twice and only that section. Go in take that and only that test. Now do the same for the next test. If it is fresh in your mind you should do fine. I did this when I first got my permit years ago. Passed all of them in one long day. At that point I had never even been inside a truck yet. You can do it.Good luck.
Ladi-Jai Thanks this. -
I took the tests they have here on TTR over and over until I got over 90 every time. Once I did I rotated to the next one, took all but Passenger. Every time I had a spare moment online I hit those tests again.
To get to the longer test on here, roll over the test icon, then select the red Learn More button which will offer you the option of doing the longer timed test like DMV.
I kept rotating around, doing all of them, until I retained it and could come back after a week and still get over 90.
Also found a site with practice tests with state-specific questions, which I did a few times right before going in. Some of those questions did show up in my state's test.
Reminder that there are incorrect answers on all sites, but those actually help because spotting them means that you know the material, so it's a sign that you're ready.
Looked through the state book a couple times to see if anything wasn't covered online.
While you're doing it, get all the endorsements you can, it's just a few more questions and can open doors, the endorsement ones are more common sense and were easier for me. -
Agree wholeheartedly with Speedyk… I think most are just happy they passed and tell themselves they'll take the endorsement tests "later"....
Don't BS yourself.... Take them all. They're relatively short and as long as you're studying.. you might as well get them all knocked out.
Study study study.... get it all out of your system so you can concentrate on the driving and getting better.FlaSwampRat, speedyk and Ladi-Jai Thank this.
